Hi! Welcome to Sarah Kate’s! Below is the recipe for my favorite chocolate chip banana bread. This recipe is so so easy! Personally, I made this version in a loaf pan, but you could also make them as muffins.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup of Butter
- 3 ripe Bananas
- 1 Tablespoon of Vanilla
- 2 Large Eggs
- 1/2 cup of Sugar
- 1/2 cup of Light Brown Sugar
- 1 1/2 cups of All Purpose Flour
- 1 Teaspoon of Baking Soda
- 1 Teaspoon of Salt
- Chocolate Chips
Preheat your oven to 375.
Start by melting the butter. Once melted, add you three ripe bananas and smash them up in the melted butter (this is a very important step!). Next you’ll add your two eggs and vanilla and mix together.

Combine your dry ingredients in a separate bowl. Once combined, add them to the wet ingredients and fold until just combined. At this point add your chocolate chips!

Pour into a loaf pan and bake for 55-60 minutes. If you put a knife in the loaf it should come out with melted chocolate but no unbaked batter. Enjoy!
